Ofsted report card, 24/02/2026

Ofsted now reports on nurseries in six areas instead of giving one overall grade.

  • InclusionNeeds attention
  • Curriculum and teachingNeeds attention
  • AchievementNeeds attention
  • Behaviour, attitudes and routinesNeeds attention
  • Children's welfare and wellbeingExpected standard
  • Leadership and governanceNeeds attention
  • Safeguarding standardsMet
What this means: Ofsted now gives report cards instead of one overall word. Each area gets its own result, so look at safeguarding first, then the others. Read the full report for the detail.
